girl the puzzles are actually so infuriating maybe i just have a tiny brain but i actually wanted to crash out so hard

Hello is the code public? I would like to use it for my school project where we analyze it and present it

Sorry, no, it’s not open source.

Can you teach me how to make such good puzzles, oh Jedi?

Beautiful and fun game.

I have a love hate relationship with it. Some puzzles made me want to ragequit.

10/10 would recomend.

Beautiful game!

Great game! It took me a while to beat it.

Also, there is a secret map. (?

This was an absolutely wonderful experience!! It was difficult, but in a way that kept me searching for answers. This was amazing!

Hello Wizbane,

we're trying to add a virtual joystick to CaccaDog (https://titanicenterprises.itch.io/caccadog) is your joystick a custom solution or did you use / adapt something from the community?

Hello! It is a custom solution. It's pretty basic, my code isn't open source, but I can share more details if you'd like.

That would be great! we're struggling with the discrete movement and the screen position of the joystick... any hope of a tutorial about the topic?

(+1)

I don't have time to make a full tutorial, but you can take a look at the code here: https://gist.github.com/wizbane/6f243859412b6fa22900a71961124142

Thank you very much, will do!

Hi Wizbane, implemented your suggestion in the new version of CaccaDog, thanks Again.

Awesome! Glad I could help!

I mean, they worked hard to make it themselves, makes sense lol

Is there an option for contacting a developer?

Hello, I'm right here! What's up?

How to beat the yellow bunny???

Nevermind figured it out

(+2)

I havent ;-;

I cant get deer and owl

i loved the music, the art, and the puzzles were incredibly challenging! fantastic and clever puzzles that are deceptively simple to start!

I was hoping for a silly little game to pass the time, but this game is amazing. It has a fun idea and has extremely well-structured puzzles that make great use of each of the skills you unlock (some puzzles are even more difficult than they should be). Recommended as a great puzzle game.

I softlocked myself while trying to go for the stoat instead of the deer and now I'm stuck between A2 and B2

could you share a screenshot of where you are?

Nvm, I thought I was softlocked since I couldn't go back from B2, but turns out A2 is possible without deer

Wow
Excellent puzzles

What do I have to smoke to come up with those when I design a game?
They seem so out of the human mind reach for me haha
I could barely solve them, I can't imagine coming up with something like that myself EVER!

Very clever game, makes great use of its different elements and the interactions between them.

I do think that some of the later puzzles have a bit too many steps, moving parts, and layouts that obscure parts of the solution more than they really need to, but maybe people smarter than me are be fine with that. I still enjoyed beating it regardless

Still can't believe I beat this game. What great challenging puzzles

Love the art and the game style, mobile controls are imprecise and the tile should differentiate more clearly what is walkable and what is not.

It is 4:30 am lol. I started at around 1 am and was so so close to just go to sleep. I wish I could say that Im glad that I did not but my brain is too drained to do haha. This is an awesome piece of game, really. Nostalgic and dreamy ambience and.. better not to spoiler anything. I didnt know there were games so short on specific things yet so good. Good job man!

This game is way better than I was expecting. There were some times where I got a bit frustrated, mainly the otter puzzle, but overall the difficulty was very well balanced. I don't think I ever had a distinct feeling the game got harder since it was so gradual. Overall I had a lot of fun playing!

I can't get past the final puzzle. I think its a skill issue on my part, though.  :(  very fun game even with my deficiency.

Good job.

this game is really good! the mechanics are nice and the last few puzzles had me stumped for a while, but were satisfying to solve

i can't get out

you can't push rocks onto the are that has water and stones, making it impossible to get left or leave the area below the fox

and the area with the bunny can't be left because the pillars in the holes dissapear

Deleted 113 days ago

Or maybe the game got an update since you made those comments I don't really know.

i can't get the bunny

You can get left once you get more animals and you can use both of the blocks to get to the bottom of the screen and leave the area below the fox.

great puzzle design and art and and atmosphere, but not allowing the user to hold the undo button to undo multiple moves is painful.

My brain started to hurt after two animals. Fantastic game!

Beautifully designed, very nicely paced and some wonderful "Aha!" moments. Thank you!

I was looking for a relaxing exploration-puzzle game like Fez or Uurnog when I stumbled across this. And this was _exactly_ what I was looking for! Impeccably charming.

(+1)

excellent game! the level design was fantastic and the puzzles were just frustrating enough to keep me invested without rage quitting. the graphics are simple but fit it perfectly.  great work :)

(+1)

Very relaxing game I love it. Impressive considering the time you had.

(+1)

I did it with 2 friends and it was very fun, thanks for this game ! we finished the game in like ~2hours and it was wonderful ♥ ♥

Good golly those final few puzzles are so so so dang hard, but after about two-three hours I got it, no hints or walkthrough needed, just lots of head scratching! Amazing game, the puzzles are so well made and I was really pleasantly surprised by the metroidvania element. The hardest part was getting my head around what could and couldn't be rolled / pushed on, a block being sunk into a hole = smooth but a pillar or rock being sunk = rough did my head in, not to mention sinking rocks to then recover wet logs. All very innovative stuff but with so many rules I often got stuck because I didn't fully understand them. The complicated rule set made for some cool moments but I also felt like there needed to be more puzzles to smoothly introduce you to everything. Still loved the game, a real head scratcher!

very simple + clever block-pushing metroidvania game! i got stuck on the island puzzle guarding otter >:P

(+2)

Wonderful game! I had a blast, I don't really fancy that much sokoban games, but the metroidvania aspect of gaining new abilities to unlock different parts of the map was very enjoyable! Also the story is basically streamlined since you kinda have to ge the animals in the right order, but at the start you don't know and have to find where you can go to progress. Good job!
